Arctic Apothecary & Peter Alvarez

This week's featured artists are Riley Parker of Arctic Apothecary & Peter Alvarez!

Riley is a local herbalist and beekeeper with a small herb farm in Salcha. They grow and gather botanicals to make herbal products and will be demonstrating how to dry and blend herbs for teas, prepare tinctures, and make salves and hydrosols.

Arctic Apothecary will have all of their products available for purchase, including tinctures, salves, fresh & dried herbs, teas, hydrosols and maybe honey!

Peter is an Alaskan Alpinist and artist. He specializes in pen and ink stippling to capture the breathtaking landscapes he frequents and will be demonstrating his process with a new piece. Peter's art prints will also be available for purchase!
