This week's featured artist is Kadey Ambrose!
Kadey is a basketmaker who makes both functional and sculptural baskets from wild harvested plants and scavenged post-consumer materials. She'll be demonstrating several weaving techniques, as well as materials preparation for a handful of basketry plants found in the Tanana Valley, including Birch and Cattails.
Kadey will be offering free drop-in workshops in simple basketry forms that can be completed in 20 minutes to 1 hour.
Baskets will also be available for purchase!
