About

This week's featured artist is Kara Kornhauser!

Kara is a weaver and budding block printer! She uses a Saori floor loom to make everything from table runners to cardigans, an inkle loom for strap weaving, and also does some basket weaving. Her print carvings are inspired by the boreal forest and beyond.

At the Workshop, Kara will be doing small weaving demos using stick looms and fun fibers - all ages welcome but especially great for kids! She'll also have her floor loom set up to do a community weave that anyone interested can contribute to.

Kara's block prints and woven items will be available for sale, including sewn tops, table runners, place mats, earring hangers, wall hangings, bags, belts, straps and more!
