Weyekin Studio

This week's featured artist is Kassandra Mirosh of Weyekin Studio!

Kassandra is an artist from Healy who works primarily in paper and cardboard sculpture. Her bird sculptures are made by individually cutting and folding each feather from recycled, specialty and handmade papers to create artistic renditions of birds. 

She'll be creating several new pieces of local birds at The Workshop - come see the process that goes into her beautiful creations! Visitors interested in creating their own unique work of art will have the opportunity to make a small folded feather piece (plan for 1.5 hours to create).

Kassandra's original multimedia bird sculptures will be available for purchase!
